The updated complete alternator replaces ALL the components of the Alternator and the rotor removal tool. The high output design includes a European made stator and rotor with increased electrical output and paired with a modern diode board, and adjustable voltage regulator. Replaces the under performing Bosch charging system with a 107mm outside diameter stator (timing cover side) used on BMW Airhead's from 1976-1995. This EDL3 charging system will reach charging voltage sooner than any other BOSCH style charging system we offer.
