EnDuraLast III High Output Alternator Kit 105mm - BMW Airhead /5, /6 & Moto Guzzi / EnDuraLast

The updated complete alternator replaces ALL the components of the Alternator and the rotor removal tool. The high output design includes a European made stator and rotor with increased electrical output and paired with a modern diode board, and adjustable voltage regulator. The system replaces the under performing Bosch charging system with a 105mm outside diameter stator (timing cover side) used on early BMW Airhead's from 1970-1976. This EDL3 charging system will reach charging voltage sooner than any other BOSCH style charging system we offer.

Diode Board / Rectifier

• Replaces original design with modern technology.
• 52 heat sink fins, more surface area = increased heat dissipation.
• Connections use high temperature solder.

Adjustable Voltage Regulator - 14.3 Volts

• Can be adjusted to higher voltage, with voltage regulation adjustment guide.
• Set at 14.3 Volt trim setting; Adjustable voltage setting allow for optimizing the correct voltage for lower RPM urban operation.
• Must be used with caution as over charging with higher voltage setting can and will damage a battery.
• Metal housing with potted electrical components.
• Direct fitment from stock.

Tools and Fasteners

• Includes specialized tool for removing the original alternator rotor.
• Includes the oil seal in the timing cover behind the rotor
• Includes all appropriate mechanical fasteners for a fresh clean and complete installation.
