Spiegler ss lines 96 BMW R 1100 RT

The kit is all top quality and I really liked being able to reposition the banjo fittings to relieve the pressure on the lines . Installation pretty straightforward watch you tube university and it will help you devise your game plan . Bleeding the system is when the heart burn will come to visit . But for me how you choose to drain flush or evacuate the system made a difference . Especially the abs on this none survo bike . I did the back first and like what I seen I attempted to exstract the fluid from the unit got very little but created a lot of air did not do that for the front and blead/ flushed it last worked much better . My thought was after you bleed your lines and calibers you then are pushing clean fluid through it to clean it out and if there’s any air in the lines you will get it then . I evacuated my front master cylinder filled it with clean fluid and kept doing that until my front calibers were clean before I ever took a line loose. Another reason to leave the abs until last . Remember this isn’t a survo machine like the 1150 ‘s gotta do it like BMW Guy on those he did not do a 1100 RT that I could find . The hose on the left front is a little long be patient it will work comes out from bottom . I had to start the banjo bolt bend the line and stick through the groumet hold the top with needle nose pliers and tighten the metal cross over line nut worked fine .
