EnDuraLast 0.7Ω Dual Tower ignition coil for BMW Airhead & Moto Guzzi
The optional mounting bracket is recommended. Additional modifications may be required to fit depending on your specific application.
NOTE: The terminals are not-polarized, so you can connect these either way. The positive side of the coil would be where you assign keyed on power, typically GREEN. The negative side of the coil would be used for the ignition trigger and if applicable the tach wire.
Vehicle Manufacturer: BMW, Moto Guzzi, and others
Application: 0.7 ohm dual tower coil, works with transistorized ignitions and will replace stock Bosch coil on later models
Make/Model: BMW Airhead & Moto Guzzi
Model Years: BMW - 1981 and on with transistorized ignitions
Resistance: 0.7Ω primary resistance and 10.9kΩ secondary resistance
Inductance: 2.7mH primary and 18.2H secondary
If you have an Airhead with the transistorized ignition system (post 1981) you would want to use the EnDuraLast 0.7 ohm coil. Although some people choose to use a 1.5 ohm coil, which also seems to work well.

0.7 ohm coil - for BMW Airheads with transistorized ignitions. Post 1981
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
These high tech, quality coils are designed for maximum performance. They produce spark voltages in excess of 30,000 volts and spark energies second to none. EnDuraLast Coils are made to replace stock coils. These Coils work with point ignitions, aftermarket electronic ignitions and factory electronic ignitions. Before selecting a coil, check the coil primary resistance requirements as specified by the manufacturer of the ignition being used. Our EnDuraLast electronic ignition for Airheads needs to see 3.0 ohms from the coils weather you are single or dual plugged (single plugged bikes should use the 3.0 ohm coil, dual plug modified heads will use 2 of the 1.5 ohm coils.) Each coil has two towers. One 3.0 ohm coil will replace the pair of original Bosch single tower coils.PRODUCT OVERVIEW

For direct factory replacement you may care to select the OE coils for your given application.
